Thank You 1st Semester ♥

So yesterday marked the start of my semestral break. Though my 1st semester in college was a little bit of hell, I still find it enjoying and, surprisingly, memorable. There was no day that was dull in our class, and proof of that is the photo you see above.

We were all strangers to each other, besides the fact that some of us were old schoolmates. But in the course of our journey, we faced challenges together, worked hard together, made memories together, and in the end, made a special bond of friendship.

No matter how hard the challenges are, no matter how pressured we get, no matter how rough the road of our journey is, we will always keep CALM, have FAITH, BREATHE, SMILE, and have FUN.

Through the tough times, we still had our smiles in our faces, stayed optimistic, and had fun. I'll surely miss our crazy days. I just hope that next semester will be better than last semester. :)

Canon Photoskwela @ SM Annex Davao

Hello! This will just be a short post. I'm kind of in a hurry.

Anyway, the photos you see above were taken last Saturday, September 1, 2012, at SM Annex Davao City. My classmate and I, together with another friend of his, attended the Canon Photoskwela, in which, 4 guest speakers were invited. I was late, so I missed one hour of the 1st workshop. 

But, technically, it was all on the powerpoint presentation they had prepared for us. But I enjoyed the day since I learned a lot from the speakers. The pictures above shows that, after a long day, we were still all smiles. :)

The Best: The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

I've been reading this book since last Wednesday and I just finished it last night since I had nothing to do. It's a great book because it has a lot of sense of humor in it. It's so filled with sarcasm, but you have to identify if a certain statement is sarcastic or not. 

For a little spoiler:

It's a story about a young boy who deals with a lot of pressure in his life. 

For those who haven't read this, I suggest you grab one copy from the nearest bookstore near you before it runs out.

Next one on my list:

Well, there's a lot of them. John Green books, Nicholas Sparks collections, Paulo Coelho delights.

Gosh! I want to collect novels again. It has been a long time. 

I better start saving up.

Hello School Fiesta 2012!

Hello! So our two-day school feast is done and we're stuck with a lot of homeworks during the long weekend. So much for beauty rest.

Project August 101

You read it right! This month will be a very busy month for me. I'll be doing a lot of projects for this month, both school-related and not school-related, since there are a lot of holidays and "no class" days. Here's a list of what I'm going to do this month:

1. Birthday surprise for ate Kath. Well, I just did this with my barkada. It was an epic fail, though. And we forgot to take pictures! :'((
2. Celebrate Carly's birthday. I'm not a fan of I-have-to-buy-her-or-him-a-gift-for-his-or-her-birthday crap. This girl is really special to us. She's pretty, actually. Maybe I should give her something worth keeping. :)
3. Celebrate my birthday at Abreeza. Well, 3 local stars in our country will visit our dearest Davao province on my birthday. I need to get some tickets, and ask my Mom for permission. Her permission would be the greatest gift ever!
4. Birthday surprise for Jec. She would be turning 17 this 22nd of August. We're still going to plan for this surprise, though.
5. Read hand-outs on Socio 111 and History 111. I'm fine with reading History, but with Sociology? I have to be serious with it. 
6. Read The Catcher in the Rye. We'll have our oral book report on the 24th for the second batch only. This is our midterm project for English 11. Wish me luck on this.
7. Study hard. 'Nuff said. 

So, that's the main list of what I'm going to do this month. The minor to-do's would be history. You don't need to know them. By the way, we'll be having our school feast 2 weeks from now, and next week, our professors would have their retreat. And next Sunday, hopefully, would be a great one.
